ISER-N research staff was trained on the development of the student achievement assessment materials and protocol. Training sessions were conducted by professionals—joint secretary, chief, and subject matter specialists in mathematics, science, and Nepali—at the Education Review Office (ERO) within Nepal’s Ministry of Education. The training covered development of question items and the item selection protocol, and best practices for the student assessment. Fifteen ISER-N research staff participated.
