STUDY SPECIFIC TRAINING (SST)

Two days of extensive Study Specific Training (SST) for the students and parents data collection on Improving Learning: Developing Measures of Accountability and Evaluating their Association with Students’ Gains in Achievement in Nepal was provided to the 58 field workers (2 Assistant Research Officers, 6 Team Leaders, 5 Senior Interviewers and 45 interviewers). The major goal of the training was to provide information about the study, study objectives, and importance of the study and train the interviewers in collecting information through CAPI. so as to ensure quality data collection. The question wise objectives were discussed and conducted in class practice. The resource persons in the training were Prof. Dr. Dirgha Jibi Ghimire, Executive Director; Ms. Indra Chaudhary, Study Manager; Mr. Prem Prakash Pandit, Project Manager; Mrs. Rija Manandhar, Data Manager; Mr.Rajendra Ghimire, Research Officer; Ms. Adina Gurung, Research Officer; and Mr. Krishna Shrestha, Research Officer.
